strategies, policies, and processes to enhance operational efficiency. - Drive continuous improvement through cost engineering techniques and
cost optimization initiatives. - Align cost estimation processes with business goals and quality standards.
II. General and Task Management: - Establish a strong cost estimating process to meet project and production
requirements. - Analyze key areas for improvement and implement cost estimation
techniques to reduce costs and improve efficiency. - Monitor financial data, detect inefficiencies, and make recommendations
for improvement.- Evaluate economic trends, assess risks, and determine cost implications. - Utilize cost methodologies, software models, and data analytics to ensure
accurate estimations. - Implement consistent cost engineering management processes and
reporting systems.- Provide strategic and operational reports as required.III. People Management: - Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing cost estimation team.- Set department objectives/KPIs and regularly review team performance. - Ensure alignment with health, safety, and environmental policies.
IV. Financial Budget and Control: - Manage and oversee the departmental budget. - Monitor supplier quotations and ensure alignment with should cost
estimates. - Drive cost reductions in collaboration with the procurement team.
V. Relationship Management: - Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external
stakeholders.- Work closely with purchasing and project teams to ensure cost efficiency.- Stay updated with market changes and support stakeholders with project
