Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Credentialing Specialist role based in Mysore. The Credentialing Specialist will manage end-to-end provider credentialing activities, including collecting, verifying, and maintaining documentation for physicians and other healthcare professionals in line with payer and regulatory requirements. The role involves processing applications for medical staff credentialing, coordinating with providers, payers, and internal teams, and ensuring timely enrollment with Medicare and other insurance programs. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing credentials for accuracy and completeness, maintaining credentialing databases, tracking expirations, and updating records to support compliance and smooth claim submission. The Credentialing Specialist will also respond to inquiries, provide clear communication to stakeholders, and support process improvements to enhance efficiency and data integrity. Qualifications Strong credentialing and medical staff credentialing skills, including experience with provider enrollment and verification processes.Knowledge of Medicare requirements and payer-specific credentialing standards.Effective communication and customer service skills for interacting with providers, payers, and internal teams.Attention to detail, data accuracy, and proficiency with credentialing or healthcare data management systems.Understanding of healthcare compliance, HIPAA, and revenue cycle processes is beneficial.Prior experience in a healthcare administrative, credentialing, or payer enrollment role is preferred.Ability to work on-site in Mysore, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Relevant diploma or degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field is an advantage. .
