We're seeking an experienced credit cards operations team member to oversee daily activities. The ideal candidate must have strong domain expertise and have sharp business mind and proven success in managing multiple departments for maximum productivity. This person will be highly skilled in human resources, finance, and IT management, and be able to develop and maintain an environment of trust, diversity, and inclusion within the operations team. He must have risk assessment capacity while handling new process/products.
Objectives of this role
- Maintain constant communication with managers, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the bank.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols.
- Increase the efficiency of existing processes and procedures.
- Ensure that operational activities remain on time.
- Oversee credit cards accounts payable, accounts receivable and other working accounts.
Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and support team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including career development plans for direct reports and problem resolution
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve proprietary tools and systems
- Work closely with various departments to ensure that activities remain compliant.
- Support all Audits.
- Set up process and prepare SOPs in connection with portfolio purchase from time to time till successfully operational.
Required skills and qualifications
- Ten or more years of proven success in an operations management role.
- Proficiency in GL accounting, network settlement and reconciliation.
- Knowledge of network income and expenses.
- Knowledge of regulatory and network reporting.
- Knowledge of TSYS and an aptitude for learning new applications.
- Proficiency in Dispute management.
Preferred skills and qualifications
- MBA (or equivalent) in operations management, or related field.
- Working knowledge of TSYS application.
- Strong IT skills.
- Multiple years of financial and account reporting experience.
