01Responsibilities
**
Manage and evaluate credit applications for secured loans, conducting thorough financial analysis, risk assessment, and collateral valuation. Approve, decline, or recommend credit proposals based on established credit policies and risk parameters. Monitor existing secured loan portfolios to identify potential risks, delinquencies, and ensure timely repayments. Develop and implement strategies for effective recovery of non-performing assets within the secured credit portfolio. Ensure compliance with all internal credit policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements. Liaise with sales teams, legal teams, and recovery agents to facilitate smooth credit operations and collections. Prepare and present credit reports and portfolio performance analysis to senior management. Train and mentor junior credit officers and support staff as needed. Stay updated on market trends, economic conditions, and changes in lending regulations affecting secured credit.
Job Qualifications:**
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certification is a plus. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in credit management, with a strong focus on secured lending, preferably within a financial institution. Proven track record of managing a significant secured credit portfolio with excellent credit quality. In-depth knowledge of credit appraisal, risk assessment, and collateral valuation techniques for various secured assets (e.g., property, vehicles, gold). Strong understanding of banking regulations and compliance requirements related to secured lending. Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in financial modeling and credit analysis software. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Local knowledge of the Siddipet market and customer base is highly desirable. .
