Job Description Role & responsibilities
\n 1. Credit Appraisal & Underwriting
\n \n Assess MSME loan proposals including LAP, Micro LAP, HL for Self-Employed, and Business Loans.
\n Conduct detailed financial analysis of:
\n ITRs, GST returns, bank statements
\n Balance sheets & P&L; statements
\n Cash flow assessment & surrogate income programs
\n Evaluate business stability, repayment capacity, and industry risk.
\n Recommend deviations with proper justification as per policy matrix.
\n Maintain TAT as defined by credit policy.
\n \n 2. Risk Assessment & Due Diligence
\n \n Conduct personal discussion (PD) with applicants.
\n Assess collateral security & property valuation reports.
\n Coordinate with Legal, Technical for report validation.
\n Identify early warning signals and mitigate credit risk.
\n \n 3. Portfolio Monitoring
\n \n Track disbursed cases and monitor early delinquency trends.
\n Support collections team for high-risk accounts.
\n Ensure portfolio quality within defined bucket norms.
\n \n 4. Policy & Compliance
\n \n Ensure adherence to internal credit policies and regulatory guidelines
\n Maintain proper documentation and audit trail.
\n Support internal and external audits.
\n \n 5. Business Support
\n \n Coordinate with Sales/Branch team for structured proposals.
\n Provide guidance to sourcing team on policy and documentation.
\n Participate in training for updated credit norms.
\n \n Preferred candidate profile
\n \n Strong knowledge of MSME financial analysis
\n Understanding of banking products & collateral-based lending
\n Valuable understanding of property-backed loans
\n 4+ Years of experience in Credit
