Title: Credit Manager Personal Loan (Underwriting)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Underwrite Personal Loan applications as per credit policy and underwriting guidelines.
- Assess applicant eligibility through income, banking, and credit bureau analysis.
- Make credit decisions within defined TAT while maintaining portfolio quality.
- Review application documents, bureau reports, verification reports, and fraud checks.
- Evaluate repayment capacity, FOIR, and existing liabilities before approval.
- Process policy exceptions with required approvals where justified.
- Ensure compliance with credit policies, risk, and regulatory requirements.
- Mentor junior underwriters and coordinate with verification agencies.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of Personal Loan underwriting and credit assessment.
- Understanding of credit policies, risk evaluation, FOIR, and repayment capacity analysis.
- Hands-on experience with Loan Origination Systems (LOS).
- Good knowledge of CIBIL and other credit bureau reports.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and risk assessment skills.
