Title: Credit Manager Personal Loan (Underwriting)
Education Qualification: MBA
Roles & Responsibilities
Underwrite Personal Loan applications as per credit policy and underwriting guidelines.
Assess applicant eligibility through income, banking, and credit bureau analysis.
Make credit decisions within defined TAT while maintaining portfolio quality.
Review application documents, bureau reports, verification reports, and fraud checks.
Evaluate repayment capacity, FOIR, and existing liabilities before approval.
Process policy exceptions with required approvals where justified.
Ensure compliance with credit policies, risk, and regulatory requirements.
Mentor junior underwriters and coordinate with verification agencies.
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of Personal Loan underwriting and credit assessment.
Understanding of credit policies, risk evaluation, FOIR, and repayment capacity analysis.
Hands-on experience with Loan Origination Systems (LOS).
Good knowledge of CIBIL and other credit bureau reports.
Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
Robust analytical, decision-making, and risk assessment skills.
