We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Credit Risk Implementation Manager. In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between complex credit risk strategies and their practical execution within our lending ecosystem. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, technology, and data science units, to ensure that risk policies are seamlessly integrated into our digital platforms. By translating high-level risk appetite into actionable system configurations, you will directly influence the quality of our loan portfolio, minimize credit losses, and ensure a frictionless experience for our end customers. This role is instrumental in maintaining the balance between aggressive business growth and robust risk governance across multiple locations in India.
02Key Responsibilities
- Design and deploy end-to-end credit risk workflows to ensure that automated decisioning engines align with the organization's risk appetite and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with technology and product teams to oversee the implementation of credit scorecards, policy rules, and underwriting logic within the loan origination system.
- Monitor the performance of implemented risk strategies by conducting regular post-implementation reviews to identify gaps and optimize decisioning accuracy.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to translate business objectives into technical specifications, ensuring that risk controls are both scalable and efficient.
- Lead the troubleshooting of system-level credit issues to minimize downtime and ensure continuous, compliant lending operations for our diverse customer base.
- Manage documentation and audit trails for all risk implementations to ensure full compliance with internal governance and external regulatory standards.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in managing the full lifecycle of credit risk implementation, including rule engine configuration and system integration within a retail or corporate lending environment.
- Strong analytical ability to interpret complex credit policies and translate them into logical, executable code or system parameters.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate technical risk concepts to non-technical teams and influence decision-making at the leadership level.
- Proven track record of working effectively in a distributed or remote-first environment, maintaining high levels of productivity and collaboration across multiple geographic locations.
- Proficiency in data-driven decision-making, utilizing SQL or similar tools to validate the impact of risk strategies on portfolio performance.
- A postgraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field from a premier institute, complemented by 8 to 13 years of relevant experience in the financial services sector. .
