Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Instructional Design Specialist to join our Global Talent, Learning & Leadership Development Center of Excellence Team. In this role, you will develop engaging, impactful learning content to support the organization and collaborate with the business to determine the best approaches for addressing learning needs. You will act as a cooperative partner to consult with stakeholders and deliver innovative learning solutions based on targeted business needs to drive organizational performance and employee development.
This position reports to the Manager, Leadership Development Programs, based in Hong Kong.
You will make an impact in the following way:
- Design and develop learning content across multiple formats (e-learning, facilitator guides, job aids, micro-learning, etc.) for a range of business functions, including but not limited to safety, patent awareness, R&D;, and professional skills.
- Consult directly with business leaders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to conduct needs assessments, identify earning needs, and recommend targeted learning solutions across the organization as directed by Talent Centre of Excellence.
- Adapt and/or customize content from internal SMEs, licensed vendors and content libraries to create Belden-specific learning assets that are practical and immediately applicable.
