Ability to interpret design documents, survey data, and construction drawings to produce accurate outputs. Key Responsibilities Study and analyze project inputs such as structural data, antenna details, transmission layouts, and shelter configurations for telecom 5G upgrade projects as SAED designer. Review and understand existing site conditions including lattice tower, equipment shelter, electrical systems, and antenna configurations. Prepare site layout, antenna layout, site elevation, equipment shelter layout, and construction drawings as per Optus standards. Develop structural drawings for mounting steelwork, face mounts, antenna supports, and tower modifications. Create detailed drawings for installation of new equipment including RRUs, GPS antennas, filters, and associated ancillaries. Prepare retrofit drawings for recovery, relocation, and reconfiguration of existing telecom equipment (antennas, cables, feeders, RRUs). Ensure compliance with standards (AS/NZS, Optus specifications, OSD drawings) in all deliverables. Support electrical and earthing layouts including labeling, grounding systems, and power configurations. Coordinate with design, verification, and project teams to ensure drawing accuracy and completeness. Deliver high-quality drawing packages in DWG and PDF formats within project timelines. Knowledge / Skills Strong knowledge of AutoCAD (2D drafting) in telecom domain. Understanding of telecom infrastructure (towers, antennas, RRUs, shelters). Knowledge of 4G/5G upgrade projects and antenna system configurations. Familiarity with structural steelwork drawings and mounting design. Understanding of electrical layouts, earthing, and site power systems. Ability to read and interpret RF diagrams and engineering drawings. Strong documentation, analytical, and quality-check skills. Awareness of site safety, access protocols, and telecom regulations. Additional Skills - AutoCAD, Telecom Structural Drafting, RF & Antenna Systems, Electrical Layout Understanding.
