Position Summary We are seeking a highly motivated Customer Service Specialist to join our bustling onsite branch located in the scenic Alpine area. In this role, you will be the face of arenaflex, delivering personalized, accurate, and efficient banking services to our valued customers. You will handle routine transactions, open new accounts, resolve inquiries, and act as a trusted advisor who consistently exceeds expectations. Key Responsibilities Account Management: Open, modify, and close a variety of deposit accounts (DDA, SDA, CD, IRA, etc.) while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Transaction Processing: Accurately process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments using arenaflexs proprietary banking software. Customer Interaction: Greet each customer by name, assess their needs, and provide tailored solutions that align with their financial goals. Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve client concerns promptly, escalating complex matters when necessary and following up to confirm satisfaction. Referral Coordination: Identify opportunities to refer customers to specialized arenaflex partners, such as mortgage, wealth management, and smallbusiness services. Branch Operations: Participate in opening and closing procedures, including cash balancing, vault management, and security checks. Community Engagement: Represent arenaflex at local events, financial literacy workshops, and branchappointed meetings to strengthen community ties. Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all internal policies, procedural guidelines, and external regulatory requirements, maintaining strict confidentiality of customer information. Continuous Improvement: Contribute ideas for process enhancements, participate in training sessions, and stay current with industry trends. Additional Duties: Perform any other tasks assigned by the Team Lead or Branch Manager that support branch success. Essential Qualifications To thrive in this role, candidates should meet the following baseline requirements: Minimum age of 18 years. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in finance or business is a plus. Demonstrated experience in clerical, administrative, cashhandling, sales, or direct customer service environments. Fundamental understanding of customer service principles and best practices. Basic proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook. Strong numerical aptitude and the ability to perform accurate cash calculations. Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills. Customercentric mindset with a genuine desire to help people achieve financial success. Corrected vision meeting job requirements and the physical ability to lift up to 20pounds. Flexibility to work a varied schedule that may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
