Job Description

Overview

As a Reference Data Analyst within Party Reference Data at J.P. Morgan Commercial Investment Bank, you play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality party data and platform stability. Your responsibilities include: - Facilitating daily production issue calls with Reference Data Technology and delivering timely resolutions. - Collaborating with various teams to triage, root cause, resolve, and escalate high-risk defects to protect release timelines. - Defining test objectives, configuring test plans, and executing positive, negative, and regression testing across environments for various purposes. - Capturing execution evidence, tracking defects through closure, and publishing daily end-of-day status and KPI trend reports to senior management and stakeholders. - Conducting demos/showcases, coaching end users on test requirements, securing timely UAT signoffs, and preventing out-of-scope defects. - Supporting Agile ceremonies, implementation planning per release, and production checkout, maintaining knowledge bases, FAQs, and self-service resources. - Identifying process automation opportunities, testing AI/ML features for data quality, anomaly detection, and workflow efficiency, and delivering monthly knowledge-sharing on changes impacting the operating model. Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree with 5+ years' experience in a financial services organization. - Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments. - Expertise in manual functional testing spanning end-to-end planning, execution, evidence capture, and defect lifecycle management. - Proficiency with JIRA, MS Excel, and MS SharePoint, along with strong communication and presentation skills. - Relationship building, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities. - Understanding of Agile frameworks and project lifecycle standards, team-oriented, and adaptable with a commitment to high-quality outcomes. Preferred qualifications, skills, and capabilities may include: - Experience with Business Objects and SQL for reporting and analysis. - Experience automating tests using Selenium WebDriver with Java. - Knowledge of reference data and the party data lifecycle across contracts, accounts, and transactions. - Experience supporting demos/showcases, UAT signoffs, and release/production checkout across complex platforms.
