Job Role :: Data Center Engineer/ Operator Job Description :: Manage client DC server and storage hardware equipment inventory. Monitor server equipment performance as per the defined checklist. Handle first-level escalations for server hardware and operating systemrelated calls. Monitor DC server equipment performance as per defined guidelines and escalate to vendors in case of device failure. Follow the backup process in line with clients backup policy. Report first-level server hardware and connectivity issues. Coordinate with the system admin team for patch updates and follow instructions provided by designated client personnel. Generate periodic reports. Execute End-of-Day (EOD) and Beginning-of-Day (BOD) processes. Coordinate with or escalate to respective vendors as per the escalation matrix.
