Role Overview :
We are seeking a seasoned Data Engineer to join our Bangalore team to architect and maintain robust data pipelines that power our clients' analytical capabilities. In this role, you will bridge the gap between raw data and actionable business intelligence by designing scalable ETL processes and optimizing data storage solutions.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, business analysts, and infrastructure engineers, to ensure high data availability and integrity. Your work will directly influence the strategic decision-making processes of our clients by providing them with reliable, high-performance data architectures.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and implement complex ETL/ELT pipelines using IICS to ensure seamless data integration across disparate enterprise systems.
- Develop and maintain high-performance data processing scripts using Python to automate data transformation and ingestion tasks.
- Optimize SQL queries and database schemas to improve the performance and scalability of large-scale data warehouses.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into technical data specifications and scalable architecture designs.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance to ensure data quality, consistency, and timely delivery for downstream reporting and analytics.
- Mentor junior team members on best practices in data engineering, code quality, and system documentation to foster a culture of technical excellence.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in building and managing end-to-end data pipelines with 7 - 11 years of professional experience in the data engineering domain.
- Advanced proficiency in Python for data manipulation and automation, alongside deep expertise in SQL for complex query optimization and database management.
- Hands-on experience with IICS (Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services) for cloud-based data integration and orchestration.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex data architecture challenges and communicate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a hybrid or on-site environment in Bangalore, demonstrating self-motivation and the ability to manage multiple project streams simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a track record of collaborating effectively within diverse, global project teams to achieve project milestones. .
