Job Description Summary Job Title: Data Engineer (ETL to Snowflake) Experience Required: 5+ Years Number of Positions: 3 Employment Type: Contract Location: Remote Notice Period / Joining Period: Immediate Shift Timings: General Shift + EST Overlap Job Overview We are seeking experienced Data Engineers (5+ years) to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidates will be responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining robust ETL/ELT pipelines for migrating and transforming data into Snowflake. You will leverage Azure Data Factory (ADF), ADLS, dbt, Python, and SQL to deliver high-performance data architecture solutions. Key Responsibilities ETL/ELT Pipeline Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines to ingest and transform data from multiple sources into Snowflake using ADF and dbt. Data Transformation & Modeling: Write clean, modular, and reusable data transformations using dbt and advanced SQL. Data Lake Management: Architect and manage structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data stored in Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS). Custom Automation: Develop scripts and data ingestion routines using Python. Snowflake Performance Tuning: Optimize virtual warehouses, clustering strategies, queries, and cost management in Snowflake. Collaboration & Quality Assurance: Implement automated data validation checks and work collaboratively during overlapping EST business hours. Mandatory Skills & Qualifications Snowflake: Deep expertise in Snowflake architecture, tasks, streams, Snowpipe, and query performance tuning. dbt (Data Build Tool): Proven hands-on experience structuring models, macros, testing, and documentation using dbt. Azure Data Factory (ADF): Strong skills in pipeline orchestration, data flows, dynamic parameterization, and integration triggers. ADLS: Experience managing and querying data stored within Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2. Python & SQL: Strong proficiency in Python scripting for data engineering and mastery of complex SQL (CTEs, window functions, analytics functions). Experience Level: 5+ years of core Data Engineering / ETL experience. Compensation: 80,000.00 - 120,000.00 per month Work Location: Remote .
