01Responsibilities
Data Collection and Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data sources, collect raw data, and integrate it into our data infrastructureData Cleaning and Transformation: Perform data cleaning and transformation tasks to ensure data quality and consistencyDatabase Management: Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of databases to support data storage and retrieval needsData Modeling: Work with senior data engineers to design and implement data models that align with business requirementsETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Processes: Develop and optimize ETL processes to extract data from various sources, transform it into usable formats, and load it into data warehouses or other storage systemsData Visualization: Collaborate with analysts and data scientists to visualize data and create insightful reports and dashboardsDocumentation: Document data engineering processes, workflows, and best practices for future referenceTechnical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to internal stakeholders as needed Qualifications:
Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related fieldStrong programming skills in languages such as Python, SQL, or JavaFamiliarity with data manipulation and transformation tools (e.g., Pandas, Apache Spark)Knowledge of database technologies (e.g., SQL databases, NoSQL databases, data warehouses)Understanding of ETL processes and toolsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamPrior internship or project experience in data engineering or related fields is a plus
