Data Engineer - SQL Server/SSIS

- Build and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Databricks, PySpark, and Delta Lake. - Collaborate with scrum teams to develop data solutions and ensure data governance with Unity Catalog. - Support both real-time and batch processing activities. - Utilize problem-solving skills, T-SQL expertise, and hands-on experience with Azure cloud tools. - Develop quality database programming requirements in alignment with sprint goals. - Create and deploy ETL/ELT pipelines with Azure Databricks leveraging PySpark and SQL. - Implement Unity Catalog for centralized data governance, access control, and data lineage tracking. - Write unit tests for automated testing and adhere to SOLID development principles for data integrity. - Demonstrate a sense of ownership, pride in performance, and understanding of the impact on company success.

- 4-7 years of experience as a Data Engineer. - Self-driven with the ability to work with minimal supervision. - Proficiency in T-SQL programming, Azure Databricks, Spark (PySpark/Scala), Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and ADLS Gen2. - Exposure to Microsoft TFS, Visual Studio, and DevOps. - Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or equivalent.
