ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python and SQLDevelop ETL workflows to ingest data from diverse sources into the data warehouseOptimize query performance and data storage across PostgreSQL and cloud data storesCollaborate with data analysts and scientists to model data for business insightsImplement data quality checks, monitoring, and alerting for production pipelinesDocument data architecture, lineage, and transformation logic for cross-team visibilityRequirements3-5 years of hands-on experience in data engineering or backend developmentStrong proficiency in Python (pandas, PySpark, or similar) and advanced SQLExperience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) data servicesWorking knowledge of workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow or PrefectFamiliarity with data warehousing concepts, star/snowflake schemas, and dimensional modelingUnderstanding of version control (Git) and CI/CD practices for data projectsNice to HaveExperience with Apache Spark or DatabricksKnowledge of dbt for data transformationsExposure to streaming data with Kafka or KinesisAbout APPIT Software SolutionsAPPIT Software Solutions is a leading technology company building AI-powered enterprise products.
