Data Engineer - Python/Snowflake DB

You will be responsible for managing and executing data migration projects, with a focus on SAS and ETL tools. Your role will involve developing migration strategies, implementing SAS jobs, and optimizing performance and reliability of processes. Additionally, you will need to have a strong understanding of cloud platforms, SQL, UNIX/Linux, and data privacy standards.

- Develop and implement migration strategies and roadmaps for automation, testing, and decommissioning - Hands-on experience in developing and implementing SAS jobs - Report progress, status, issues, and risks following project-specific processes - Continuously improve and optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of processes - Knowledge of GDPR and other data privacy standards and regulations - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities - Self-motivated and able to work independently or in a team - Experience with Financial data and data modeling is a plus

- 5+ years of experience in data management and migration projects, focusing on SAS and ETL tools - Strong understanding of Base SAS, SAS Macro/SQL, UNIX/Linux - Experience with Python, AWS/Azure cloud platforms preferred - Knowledge of at least one database such as SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, DBT, etc. - Familiarity with SAS, SAS/Macro, SAS/SQL, SAS/ACCESS, UNIX/Linux, Python/PySpark, and at least one cloud technology/platform (Note: No additional details about the company were provided in the job description.)
