DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Database Administrator specializing in Microsoft SQL Server to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of experience in managing SQL Server databases, ensuring their performance, security, and availability.
ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases, ensuring high availability and performance.Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.Implement backup and recovery strategies to protect data integrity.Optimize SQL queries and database structures for improved efficiency.Work with application developers to design and implement database solutions that meet business needs.Perform regular database maintenance tasks, including updates and patches.Document database configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference.
Skills and Qualifications6-8 years of experience in database administration with Microsoft SQL Server.Strong knowledge of T-SQL programming and database design principles.Experience with database performance tuning and optimization techniques.Familiarity with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and other database tools.Understanding of backup, recovery, and replication strategies in SQL Server.Knowledge of security best practices for database management.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders. .
