Position Description
We are looking for a talented and experienced Database Developer.
Must Have Skills
5+ years of relevant work experienceExtensive experience with optimizing and troubleshooting SQL queries, indexes, execution plans, joins, and overall database performanceAbility to participate in and contribute to code management in GitHub includingActively collaborating in peer-reviews, feature branches, and resolving conflicts and commitsAbility to train and mentor application developers on best database practicesExperience with GitHub CI/CD pipelinesExcellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Skills
Experience with microservices, Kafka and NoSQL databases would be nice to haveExperience working with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure SQL Database and Azure Data Factory (ADF), is preferredFamiliarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform is a plus
