Delivery Lead - Portfolio Monitoring

Position Title Delivery Lead Experience Level 6-8 years of relevant experience. Department PrivateMarket Location Gurgaon Position reports to Assistant Director Job Purpose The individual will play a key role in supporting thePortfolio Monitoring team of a Private Equity client around financial analysis.The professional will be actively working as an extended team member for theclient and will assist them with portfolio monitoring and investor reportingservices. This opportunity is ideal for private equity /investment banking professionals interested in working with leading globalprivate equity funds and asset management companies. The role provides goodexposure to various aspects of the private equity and valuations industry. Key Responsibilities Analyze PE Fundsperformance by going through fund literature such as quarterly/financialreports Capturing fundvaluation data such as investment cost, realized / unrealized value, gross /net multiple, gross / net IRR and financial KPIs such as revenue, EBITDA, netdebt etc. Tracking theperformance of operational KPIs and operational updates on quarterly basis Creating /updating fund track-record and reconciling the data using cash flow notices Workingaround templates, including updating on quarterly basis and making desiredchanges Calculatingfund multiples and IRRs using cash flows and performing various fund analyticssuch as attribution and value creation analysis Manage theclient library task such as portfolio company details, fund financialstatements, and capital notices Reconcilingthe portfolio level operational data including geographical presence,headquarter and portfolio leverage Ensuremaintenance of all output reports and dashboards so that the submitted dataflows through seamlessly Modify andmaintain all templates and reports as per requirement. Setting up access forclient users and sending periodical templates to portfolio companies to collectthe monthly / quarterly data. Key Competencies Experience in and around Private Equity/ Valuations / Financial Statement Analysis Basic knowledge and understanding of Private Equity, Fund of Funds and Financial Services Industry (FSI) trends MBA in Finance, Economics or Business management / CFA Strong analytical, communication (written/verbal) and client engaging skills Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Ability to develop and maintain lasting relationships with senior professionals, good interpersonal skills, goal-oriented Ability to be a team player and contribute to the development of the team Strong work ethics, commitment to excel and proven ability to work with minimum supervision.
