Job Description
We are looking for a Deputy Area Manager to manage relationships with Virtual Relationship Managers (VRMs), Team Leaders and Regional Unit Heads and drive life insurance business through the assigned region.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with VRMs, Team Leaders and Regional Unit Heads.
Work closely with the team to achieve sales and business targets.
Promote Bajaj Life insurance products and explain product benefits to VRMs.
Train and guide VRMs on products, sales techniques and processes.
Generate and improve lead conversion through the VRM channel.
Monitor sales performance, lead funnel and overall productivity.
Ensure smooth processing and timely policy issuance.
Maintain high-quality business and improve policy persistency.
Conduct regular meetings, training and coaching sessions.
Identify areas of improvement and implement action plans.
Ensure strong coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Track market opportunities and work towards increasing business growth.
Candidate Requirements
Graduate / Post-Graduate in any discipline. MBA preferred.
Minimum 2 years of experience in Sales / BFSI / Life Insurance preferred.
Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent communication, presentation and convincing skills.
Good knowledge of life insurance products and processes.
Ability to train, coach and motivate teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of sales planning and lead/funnel management.
Target-oriented and comfortable working in a sales environment.
