Job Overview
We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to provide end-user IT support and manage day-to-day desktop, laptop, network, and user account-related issues.
Key Responsibilities
Provide desktop and laptop hardware/software support to end users.
Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Windows OS, applications, printers, and peripherals.
Create, modify, disable, and manage user email IDs and email accounts.
Configure and troubleshoot Microsoft Outlook and other email clients.
Manage basic Active Directory user accounts, passwords, groups, and access permissions.
Handle basic DNS and DHCP configuration and troubleshooting.
Troubleshoot network connectivity, LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and IP-related issues.
Configure and troubleshoot printers and shared network resources.
Perform software installation, upgrades, patching, and antivirus support.
Maintain IT asset inventory and update support tickets/documentation.
Coordinate with internal IT teams and external vendors for issue resolution.
Provide onsite and remote technical support as required.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of Desktop and Laptop Troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience with Windows 10/11.
Experience in Email ID creation and email configuration.
Basic knowledge of Active Directory.
Good understanding of DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, LAN, and Wi-Fi networking.
Experience with Outlook troubleshooting and configuration.
Knowledge of hardware replacement and peripheral troubleshooting.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
Experience supporting corporate/enterprise users.
Knowledge of Microsoft 365/Office 365 will be an added advantage.
Candidates available to join immediately or within a short notice period.
BE in IT or equivalent .
