As a software engineer at UBS, your role involves designing and building next-generation business applications using the latest technologies. You will be responsible for providing technology solutions that address business problems and analyzing business requirements for Order Trade Management. Your key responsibilities include:- Designing, planning, and delivering sustainable solutions using modern programming languages.- Offering technical expertise and recommendations for new software projects and initiatives.- Conducting code reviews, testing software, and participating in application architecture and design discussions.- Ensuring appropriate operational controls and procedures are implemented for the transition from test to production environments.Your expertise should include:- 8 years of experience in configuring and implementing DevOps workflows using Gitlab pipelines, docker containers, and AKS cluster.- Practical delivery of automation scripts in Unix-based platforms (bash, python).- Experience in ETL and ETL processing via tools like Azure Data Factory (ADF).- Good knowledge of the Azure environment, containerization concepts, cloud-native development practices, Azure Wizard, etc.- Managing source code version control, maintaining code repository, and administering database baseline.- Improving best practices of branching and code merge and establishing process control points to custom needs of the development team.- Automating the release/deployment process and enforcing established change management processes.UBS is the world's largest and the only truly global wealth manager, operating through four business divisions: Global Wealth Management, Personal & Corporate Banking, Asset Management, and the Investment Bank.
