DevOps Engineer (OpenStack) Experience: 25 Years Location: Bangalore Employment Type: Full-time Role Overview We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in OpenStack to deploy, manage, and optimize private cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Linux administration, virtualization, automation, CI/CD, and cloud operations, with a strong focus on building reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Deploy, configure, and maintain OpenStack cloud environments. Manage core OpenStack services, including Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Keystone, Glance, and Horizon. Automate infrastructure provisioning using Ansible, Terraform, or similar Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless application deployments. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure performance. Ensure high availability (HA), security, backup, and disaster recovery. Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment and operational efficiency. Required Skills Hands-on experience with OpenStack deployment and administration. Strong Linux administration skills (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL). Experience with KVM/QEMU virtualization. Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes. Automation using Ansible, Terraform, or similar IaC tools. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions. Strong networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VLANs, Open vSwitch (OVS), and Load Balancing. Experience with storage technologies such as Ceph, NFS, and iSCSI. Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 25 years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Infrastructure. Experience managing production OpenStack environments. OpenStack, Red Hat, or Linux certifications are an added advantage. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
