DevOps Engineer (OpenStack) Experience: 25 Years Location: Bangalore Employment Type: Full-time Role Overview We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in OpenStack to deploy, manage, and optimize private cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Linux administration, virtualization, automation, CI/CD, and cloud operations, with a strong focus on building reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure. Key Responsibilities - Deploy, configure, and maintain OpenStack cloud environments. - Manage core OpenStack services, including Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Keystone, Glance, and Horizon. - Automate infrastructure provisioning using Ansible, Terraform, or similar Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. - Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless application deployments. - Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure performance. - Ensure high availability (HA), security, backup, and disaster recovery. - Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment and operational efficiency. Required Skills - Hands-on experience with OpenStack deployment and administration. - Solid Linux administration skills (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL). - Experience with KVM/QEMU virtualization. - Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes. - Automation using Ansible, Terraform, or similar IaC tools. - Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions. - Strong networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VLANs, Open vSwitch (OVS), and Load Balancing. - Experience with storage technologies such as Ceph, NFS, and iSCSI. - Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack. Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 25 years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Infrastructure. - Experience managing production OpenStack environments. - OpenStack, Red Hat, or Linux certifications are an added advantage. - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
