DevOps Engineer - Tieto Banktech

** - Implement and maintain AWS infrastructure for payment applications - Build, enhance, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins Pipeline - Automate operational processes using Python/Bash and Terraform - Support day-to-day Kubernetes operations (EKS deployments, scaling, troubleshooting) - Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment efficiency and reliability - Manage monitoring, logging, and alerting critical payment systems - Contribute to cloud security, cost optimization, and infrastructure hardening - Support production releases, resolve incidents, and enhance system resilience - Participate in on-call support on a rotation basis and occasional weekend support **

** - 35 years of hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, Lambda, EKS etc.) - Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins or similar tools - Experience with Infrastructure as Code Terraform (preferred) - Familiarity with Containerization & Orchestration Docker & Kubernetes (EKS) - Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Splunk, Appdynamics, Grafana, Cloudwatch, Prometheus, ELK stack - Understanding of DevOps best practices including automated deployments, GitOps, observability, and security-first approach - Familiarity with modern deployment strategies like Blue/Green, Canary, Rolling updates - Scripting proficiency in Python or Bash **Additional Information:** At Tieto, diversity, equity, and inclusion are highly valued.
