Interstride is looking for a senior employer partnerships leader to build hiring pathways for internationally educated Indian graduates returning to India.
This role sits at the intersection of higher education, early-career hiring, employer relations, and talent technology. You will connect Interstrides global university network with leading employers across India, creating meaningful placement opportunities for students and a strong talent pipeline for recruiters.
The ideal candidate has previously worked in employer relations or placements within a higher education institution, or in a job board, career platform, HRTech, or recruitment business selling into HR and Talent Acquisition teams.
What Youll Own
Build and lead Interstrides employer partnership strategy across India.Develop relationships with CHROs, Talent Acquisition Heads, Campus Hiring Leaders, University Relations teams, and early-career recruiters.Create hiring opportunities for Indian graduates returning from universities across the US, UK, Canada, Europe, Australia, and Singapore.Position Interstride as a strategic talent partner for graduate and early-career hiring.Convert employer relationships into interviews, hiring campaigns, internships, and placements.Engage employers through targeted outreach, referrals, industry networks, conferences, and strategic partnerships.Understand employer hiring needs and connect them with relevant talent from Interstrides student network.Collaborate with University Partnerships, Customer Success, Marketing, and Product teams to improve employer engagement and hiring outcomes.Help shape Interstrides employer offering, commercial model, and market expansion strategy in India.
What Were Looking For
810+ years of experience in Employer Relations, Campus Placements, Corporate Relations, University Career Services, Employer Partnerships, HRTech, recruitment platforms, job boards, or early-career hiring.Prior experience acting as a bridge between universities, students, recruiters, and employers.Strong relationships with HR, Talent Acquisition, Campus Recruitment, and University Relations leaders across India.Demonstrated success in creating internships, graduate hiring opportunities, or student placements.Experience working with premier institutions such as IITs, IIMs, ISB, BITS, XLRI, SPJIMR, NITs, or other leading universities is highly preferred.Experience selling recruitment, employer branding, hiring, or talent solutions into HR teams is a strong advantage.Strong commercial judgment, executive presence, and relationship-building skills.Entrepreneurial, outcome-focused, and comfortable building a market from the ground up.
