Director Finance

Lead and develop the Finance organization within the India GCC, fostering a culture aligned with AssetMarks values and mission.Oversee key parts of Finance operations, including Controllership, FP&A[ Financial Planning and Analysis ], and Billing.Oversee operational accounting activities, including accurate and timely transaction recording, reconciliations, and close processes.Oversee FP&A activities including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis.Oversee Fee Billing activities and ensure accuracy, efficiency, and strong operational controls.Drive finance transformation through process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.Develop and monitor operational metrics and KPIs to measure performance and service delivery.Build strong relationships with Finance and business leaders across the U.S. and India.Maintain compliance with Indian accounting standards, U.S. GAAP, company policies, and internal controls.Support internal and external reporting requirements and audit activities. Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or equivalent professional accounting qualification.15 to 20 years of progressive Finance and Accounting experience.Experience leading Finance teams in a Global Capability Center (GCC), Shared Services, or Global Business Services organization.Strong knowledge of India GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.Experience managing Finance Operations, including AP, AR, GL, Cash Management, and T&E.Leadership experience building and developing high-performing teams.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey key operating metrics and complex financial information clearly to diverse audiences.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Big Four public accounting experience.Experience establishing or scaling a Finance organization within a GCC.Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle NetSuiteFinancial Services, Wealth Management, or FinTech industry experience.Experience leading finance transformation or process improvement initiatives. .
