Role & responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end collection activities for ARD and NPA accounts across the assigned division.
- Develop and execute strategies to minimize delinquency and improve recovery percentages.
- Monitor bucket-wise collection performance (30+, 60+, 90+, NPA, Write-off).
- Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual collection targets.
- Supervise and mentor Area Collection Managers, Collection Executives, and Recovery Agencies.
- Coordinate with Legal, Operations, Credit, and Sales teams for effective resolution of delinquent accounts.
- Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines and internal collection policies.
- Manage repossession, settlement, auction, and legal recovery processes wherever applicable.
- Conduct regular field visits to monitor collection activities and support critical recoveries.
Preferred candidate profile
- 8 to 12 years of experience in Collections/Recovery.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years in a team handling or managerial role.
- Experience in NBFC, Banking, Vehicle Finance, or Retail Lending preferred.
- Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred). .
