Your Role
As a Drilling & Rig Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining drilling rig equipment, supporting drilling activities, and ensuring safe and efficient operations on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate drilling rig equipment and machinery safely and efficiently
- Assist with rig setup, drilling operations, tripping, and rig-down activities
- Monitor drilling parameters and equipment performance
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and minor repairs on rig equipment
- Handle drilling tools, pipes, mud systems, and related equipment
- Follow drilling plans and operational procedures
- Maintain accurate operational logs and equipment records
- Ensure compliance with company safety standards and industry regulations
- Identify equipment issues and report maintenance requirements promptly
- Work closely with drillers, toolpushers, engineers, and other rig crew members
What Were Looking For
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or technical certification (preferred)
- Experience in drilling, rig operations, or oil & gas field operations
- Knowledge of drilling equipment, rig systems, and field safety procedures
- Ability to operate heavy machinery and drilling-related equipment
- Physically fit and able to work in demanding outdoor environments
- Willingness to work rotational schedules and remote locations when required
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
