Job Title: Duck Creek Policy Technical Lead (Production Support / Maintenance)

Job Summary
We are looking for a Duck Creek Policy Technical Lead with 812 years of experience in Duck Creek Policy to lead production support and application maintenance activities. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in troubleshooting production issues, handling incident management, performing root cause analysis (RCA), defect fixes, enhancements, deployments, and ensuring high application availability. Prior experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C;) Insurance domain is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead L2/L3 production support for Duck Creek Policy applications.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents within SLA.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes.
- Handle defect analysis, bug fixing, and minor enhancements.
- Support application deployments, releases, and production validations.
- Monitor application health and coordinate with infrastructure and business teams.
- Work on support tickets, change requests, and maintenance activities.
- Review code changes and provide technical guidance to the team.
- Coordinate with onshore/offshore teams and participate in incident bridge calls.
- Ensure application stability, performance optimization, and continuous improvements.
- Prepare technical documentation and knowledge transfer documents.
Mandatory Skills
- 812 years of IT experience with 7 Years in Duck Creek Policy.
- Robust experience in Duck Creek Policy Configuration.
- Experience in Production Support / Application Maintenance projects.
- Hands-on experience in incident management, problem management, RCA, and defect resolution.
- Good knowledge of Duck Creek Author, Express, Manuscript, TransACT/XML.
- Strong SQL skills for production data analysis and troubleshooting.
- Experience with release management and deployment support.
- Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and system integrations.
- Experience with ServiceNow, JIRA, or similar ticketing tools.
- Excellent debugging and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills
- Property & Casualty (P&C;) Insurance domain experience.
- Exposure to Duck Creek Distribution Management or Billing/Claims is an advantage.
- Experience with Azure, IIS, CI/CD pipelines, or DevOps tools.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead production support activities and ensure SLA compliance.
- Resolve high-priority production issues and provide timely updates.
- Conduct RCA and preventive maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with business users, QA, infrastructure, and development teams.
- Mentor junior developers and support engineers.
