About the Role
We are a global diamond jewelry business selling on eBay.com and are looking for an energetic, confident, and sales-oriented eBay Live Host to host live shopping sessions featuring diamond jewelry.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable speaking on camera, engaging with an international audience, explaining jewelry and diamond specifications, answering customer questions, and converting live viewers into buyers.
Key Responsibilities
- Host engaging eBay Live shopping sessions featuring diamond rings, tennis bracelets, necklaces, earrings, pendants, and other fine jewelry.
- Present products professionally and highlight their design, diamond specifications, craftsmanship, certification, and value.
- Explain important details such as carat weight, diamond shape, color, clarity, cut, metal type, certification, and ring/bracelet sizes.
- Interact with viewers in real time and answer questions about products, pricing, shipping, returns, customization, and certifications.
- Create excitement around products and encourage viewers to purchase during the live session.
- Build trust with international customers through professional and transparent communication.
- Coordinate with the sales and operations team regarding product availability, pricing, offers, and promotions.
- Maintain an elegant, premium presentation suitable for a luxury jewelry brand.
- Review live-session performance and work on improving viewer engagement, conversion, and sales.
Candidate Requirements
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
- Confident and comfortable appearing on camera.
- Strong sales ability and persuasive communication.
- Pleasant personality with excellent customer-interaction skills.
- Basic understanding of diamonds and jewelry is preferred.
- Experience with eBay, live commerce, social media selling, or e-commerce is a strong advantage.
- Ability to explain technical product information in a simple and convincing manner.
- Good knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, or other live-streaming platforms is a plus.
- Professional appearance and ability to represent a premium/luxury brand.
- Comfortable working with customers primarily from the USA and other international markets.
- Willingness to work flexible hours to match the US audience/time zone.
