Role Description The EDI Integration Consultant will support and maintain EDI integration workflows between enterprise applications, trading partners, and ERP systems, with a strong focus on X12 transaction standards and Oracle PL/SQL. Day-to-day responsibilities include troubleshooting inbound and outbound EDI data flows, developing and tuning PL/SQL packages and procedures, managing trading partner connections via OpenText Trading Grid/GXS, creating and modifying correlation documents and maps, and performing root-cause analysis on production integration issues. The consultant will collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, and external trading partners to ensure reliable, accurate data exchange, and will contribute to integration documentation and best practices.

Type: Contract Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years of EDI support and implementation experience, with a proven track record troubleshooting inbound and outbound data integration flows.
Hands-on experience managing trading partner connections via OpenText Trading Grid or GXS platforms.
Strong working knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL, including packages, procedures, functions, and performance tuning.
Deep understanding of EDI standards (X12) and transaction sets, including 204, 214, 240, 810, 850, 856, 940, 943, 945, and 997.
Experience creating and modifying correlation documents/maps in OpenText Trading Grid or OpenText Business Network.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot production integration issues and perform root-cause analysis.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business analysts, developers, and external trading partners.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
