Electrical / Mechanical Compensation: As per Industry Apply Now We are looking for an experienced Electrical / Mechanical Purchase Engineer to manage the procurement of electrical components, systems, and services for our projects or manufacturing units. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical materials and vendors, excellent negotiation skills, and proven experience in handling the procurement lifecycle. Responsibilities Electrical Fittings ProcurementPurchase of electrical items such as: Capacitors, Switches, Lux / Lighting Fixtures, MCBs, Electrical Panels (Machine-made), Electrical Cables, Cable Glands & AccessoriesVendor identification and technical comparison of electrical materials. Pipe Fittings & Mechanical MaterialsProcurement of mechanical and piping materials including: Pipes, Elbows, Flanges, Nuts & Bolts, ValvesEnsuring quality standards and specification compliance. Electrical Equipment PurchaseHandling procurement of major electrical equipment: Chillers, Compressors, Transformers, Pumps.Preparing techno-commercial comparisons and negotiation with suppliers. Local Purchase ManagementHandling urgent and local purchases of basic site requirements.Maintaining vendor network for immediate material availability.Coordination with site and store departments. Office Administration ProcurementPurchase of office-related materials: Printers, Desktop PCs & Laptops, Office Furniture, Stationery Items Additional Responsibilities Vendor development.Preparing Purchase Orders (PO).Rate negotiation & cost optimization.Follow-up for delivery schedules.Coordination with Accounts, Stores, and Project Teams.Maintaining purchase records and documentation. Required Skills Knowledge of ERP / Purchase Software preferred. Knowledge of electrical & mechanical materials.Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.Good communication & coordination ability. Preferred Skills Experience in industrial/project purchase.Ability to handle multiple categories of procurement.Immediate joining preferred.
