01Key Responsibilities
1. Motor Current Signature Analysis - MCSA
Carry out MCSA testing of HT and LT motors from MCC/PCC panels.
Connect and operate MCSA/electrical testing instruments safely.
Record motor current and electrical operating parameters and capture test data under normal operating conditions.
Analyse current signatures to identify potential motor/electrical abnormalities.
Prepare equipment-wise test observations and recommendations.
Maintain proper test records and historical data.
2. Electrical Testing
Perform electrical measurements/testing as per project requirements.
Measure motor current, voltage, current imbalance, frequency, power-related parameters, motor loading and electrical operating condition.
Record other parameters supported by the testing instrument.
3. Panel-Level Testing
Conduct testing from HT/LT MCC and electrical panels without disturbing normal plant operation wherever applicable.
Identify the correct motor feeder and ensure proper equipment identification.
Follow electrical safety procedures while working inside/around panels.
Coordinate with the customers electrical team for permissions and equipment availability.
4. Site Activities
Visit customer manufacturing plants across India.
Coordinate with Electrical, Maintenance and Reliability teams.
Follow safety procedures, work permits and PPE requirements.
Carry out testing as per daily schedule.
Maintain instruments, cables, CTs/probes and accessories properly.
Maintain photographs, readings and test documentation.
5. Reporting
Prepare daily electrical testing reports.
Prepare MCSA test reports and equipment-wise observations.
Record abnormal findings and recommendations.
Maintain Excel-based testing databases and equipment records.
Ensure timely submission and proper documentation of completed/pending tests.
Qualification:
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering
Experience:
0-3 years in electrical testing, motor testing, electrical maintenance or industrial testing.
Freshers with good electrical fundamentals and willingness to work at industrial sites may also be considered.
Experience in MCSA, motor testing, predictive maintenance or condition monitoring is an advantage.
Required Technical Knowledge:
HT & LT motors; MCC/PCC panels and motor feeders.
Three-phase electrical systems.
Current and voltage measurements and electrical imbalance.
Motor operating parameters and basic motor construction/working.
Electrical safety procedures; MS Excel and MS Word.

Good technical aptitude and willingness to learn specialized testing technologies.
Good communication/reporting skills and professional customer interaction.
Strong focus on safety and accurate data collection.

Preferred Certifications / Skills:
MCSA / Motor Testing certification.
