- Examine electronic schematics and diagrams to identify all components
- Conduct tests to ensure products meet quality and performance standards
- Analyze and interpret test data to identify issues and improve product design
- Troubleshoot and resolve any defects or malfunctions in electronic products
- Use various tools and techniques to accurately identify and label components
- Verify component specifications against design requirements
- Ensure correct placement and orientation of components on circuit boards
- Cross-reference components with manufacturer datasheets and part numbers
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of components and their specifications
- Assist in selecting appropriate components for recent designs based on specifications and availability
