Job description:
1.Coder must be familiar with CMS MDM table with updates.
2.Coders must have hands on experience of inpatient (initial, subsequent, discharge CPTs), observation, same day admit discharge.
3.Must have knowledge of Critical care and procedures performed bedside.
4.Coders must have coding knowledge of consult codes, telehealth, Prolonged services.
5.Must be Proficient in payor specific guidelines Medicare vs commercial.
6.Must have knowledge of modifiers for inpatient, outpatient.
7.Must have knowledge of NCCI edits and LCD, NCD policies.
8.ICD 10 CM guidelines experience is mandatory.
9.Must have experience in EM IP multi-specialty coding. .
