Role Overview
O.P. Jindal Global University is looking for an experienced ERP professional to lead the implementation, management, integration, and continuous improvement of the University's ERP systems. The role will work closely with academic and administrative departments, ERP vendors, and senior stakeholders to ensure efficient and technology-enabled institutional processes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end ERP implementation, enhancement, and transformation projects, including requirement gathering, process mapping, configuration, testing, go-live, and post-implementation support.Manage and optimize ERP processes covering admissions, student registration, academics, examinations, results, student records, HR, Finance, and other administrative functions.Work with functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective ERP workflows and system solutions.Lead UAT, data migration, data validation, master data management, and system integration activities.Drive business process re-engineering, automation, and digital transformation initiatives to reduce manual processes and improve operational efficiency.Manage ERP vendors and implementation partners, ensuring timely delivery, issue resolution, and adherence to agreed requirements.Coordinate with OITS and functional stakeholders for system integrations, enhancements, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.Develop and maintain functional specifications, process documentation, SOPs, and user training materials.Ensure ERP processes support institutional policies, compliance requirements, data integrity, and effective reporting.Provide regular updates to senior leadership on ERP projects, risks, progress, and system performance.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Management, or a related discipline; postgraduate qualification preferred.12+ years of relevant experience in ERP implementation, ERP management, enterprise applications, or digital transformation.Proven experience in end-to-end ERP implementation and functional management.Experience in Higher Education/University ERP will be highly preferred.Strong exposure to SAP/SAP SLCM, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Ellucian, Workday, PeopleSoft, or similar ERP platforms.Experience in data migration, UAT, integrations, process automation, vendor management, and stakeholder management.
