Job Description
Working independently and provides oversight and technical guidance on Treatment systems design for wastewater or water facilities, and engineering designs of moderate to high complexity to meet client project requirements. Serving as process engineer to contribute to process and/or process mechanical and/or hydraulic design and supporting construction of water and wastewater infrastructure. Developing wastewater treatment plant designs including: developing process flow diagram; influent plant data collection and analysis; performing calculations (Plant water balance, plant loading, treatment unit sizing, aeration requirement related calculation); setting design criteria; coordinating with equipment vendors; assessing technology for project applicable recommendations; write technical memorandum and preliminary design reports; designing piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID;); and developing control descriptions and strategies.
