Role Description The Equity Options Trader at Athikhur is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Delhi Area. The individual in this role will execute and monitor equity and options trades, manage intraday risk, and optimize positions in line with strategy and risk limits. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing market data and order flow, applying technical analysis, participating in market-making activities, and adjusting strategies in response to changing market conditions. The trader will collaborate with other team members on trade ideas, maintain accurate trade records, and provide regular performance and risk reports. The role also involves continuous evaluation of trading tools and models to improve profitability and operational efficiency. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Trading and Equities skills, with experience in equity and options markets.Candidates should possess Technical Analysis and Analytical Skills to interpret price action, volume, and quantitative data.Candidates should possess Market Making capabilities, including managing spreads, liquidity provision, and position balancing.Candidates should possess solid risk management, numeracy, and attention to detail in a high-pressure environment.Relevant experience in proprietary trading, brokerage, or institutional trading is beneficial.A bachelors degree in finance, economics, mathematics, engineering, or a related quantitative field is preferred.Proficiency with trading platforms, market data terminals, and Excel or similar analytical tools is advantageous.Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, on-site environment are important. .
