Role Description The Equity Research Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India. This role involves conducting fundamental and quantitative analysis of companies and sectors, building and maintaining financial models, and preparing research reports, investment memos, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. The associate will monitor market trends, company news, and macroeconomic developments, providing timely insights and investment recommendations to the investment team. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering and analyzing financial statements and industry data, participating in meetings with company management and sector experts, and collaborating closely with portfolio managers and senior analysts to support investment decisions. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, evaluate business models, and assess sector trends.Candidates should possess solid Finance and Investments knowledge to support valuation work, portfolio analysis, and investment recommendations.Candidates should possess proficiency in Financial Modeling to build, update, and stress-test company and sector models.Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to present research findings clearly in written reports and verbal discussions.Relevant academic background such as a bachelors or masters degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.Strong proficiency in Excel and familiarity with financial databases or market data tools (e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ) is beneficial.Ability to work in a detail-oriented, deadline-driven environment with a high level of integrity and professional judgment.Prior internship or work experience in equity research, investment banking, or asset management is an advantage. .
