Position: ETL Tester / Power BI Analyst
Experience: 6 to 9 Years
Location: Mumbai / Pune / Hyderabad / Bangalore / Chennai

Job Summary -
We are looking for an experienced ETL Tester with robust Power BI reporting and data validation expertise. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in ETL testing, data warehousing concepts, SQL, reporting validation, and business intelligence tools. The role requires ensuring data quality, accuracy, and end-to-end validation of ETL pipelines and Power BI reports.
Key Responsibilities -
Perform ETL testing, data validation, and reconciliation for data warehouse projects.
Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts for ETL processes.
Validate data transformations, mappings, and data migration activities.
Conduct Power BI report and dashboard testing to ensure data accuracy and business rule compliance.
Perform backend testing using SQL queries and analyze large datasets.
Validate data from multiple source systems to target databases/data warehouses.
Work closely with Business Analysts, Data Engineers, and Reporting teams.
Identify, track, and resolve data quality and reporting issues.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to test estimation and planning.
Required Skills -
Robust experience in ETL Testing and Data Warehouse Testing.
Hands-on experience with Power BI reporting validation and dashboard testing.
Advanced SQL skills for data analysis, data comparison, and reconciliation.
Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, SSIS, Talend, DataStage, AWS Glue, or Azure Data Factory (ADF).
Positive understanding of Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Fact & Dimension tables.
Experience in validating data pipelines and performing source-to-target mapping validation.
Knowledge of Azure, AWS, or GCP data platforms is desirable.
Experience with defect management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or HP ALM.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. .
