We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Purview & Exchange Architect to design and manage enterprise-scale messaging, compliance, and data governance solutions across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
Key Skills & Experience8+ years of experience in Exchange Online and Hybrid Exchange environments.4+ years of handson experience with Microsoft Purview.Strong expertise in Information Protection, DLP, Retention, Records Management, eDiscovery, Audit, Communication Compliance, and Insider Risk Management.Experience with Exchange Online, mail flow design, mailbox migrations, and Exchange Online Protection (EOP).Knowledge of Microsoft Defender for Office 365, anti-phishing, Safe Links, and Safe Attachments.Strong PowerShell skills (Exchange Online, Microsoft Graph, Security & Compliance).Experience with Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access, MFA, and RBAC.Strong understanding of compliance frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, and ISO 27001.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement Microsoft Purview compliance and governance solutions.Configure sensitivity labels, DLP policies, retention policies, and eDiscovery capabilities.Architect and support Exchange Online and Hybrid Exchange environments.Lead mailbox migration and messaging security initiatives.Provide M365 architecture guidance across Exchange, Entra ID, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Intune.Support security, compliance, and Zero Trust initiatives.Develop standards, documentation, and best practices.Preferred CertificationsMicrosoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator ExpertMicrosoft Certified: Information Security Administrator AssociateMicrosoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator AssociateMicrosoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect ExpertProject DetailsEmployment Type: PermanentLocation: Bangalore / Hybrid 3 days per weekLanguage: Fluent English
