Execution Senior Analyst, Payments

In this role at bp, you will be part of the Finance Business & Technology (FBT) centre in Pune, India, which is focused on driving digital solutions and transforming bp's business processes globally. Your key responsibilities will include: - Reviewing and analyzing aged open items in the AP ledger. - Investigating and resolving discrepancies, duplicate payments, and unmatched invoices. - Coordinating with internal departments and vendors to clear aged items. - Ensuring compliance with the Balance Sheet Integrity/ Reconciliation standard and providing accurate and timely reporting to Internal Control. - Managing and coordinating the reconciliation of relevant systems to identify and correct discrepancies. - Maintaining controls within the team and facilitating internal and external audit reviews. - Implementing best practices for the expense process and identifying continuous improvement opportunities. - Tracking and resolving outstanding issues or escalating them to necessary parties. To excel in this role, you are expected to have: - Detailed knowledge in Accounts Payable Process. - High familiarity with systems to maintain accurate balances. - Experience liaising with vendors and colleagues in different time zones and languages. - Ability to support team members across various geographical locations and systems. - Flexibility to work in different shifts to support Business Partners.
