Job Summary
Agrya Consulting Private Limited is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and analytical Executive / Senior Executive Payroll & HR Operations to manage both the organization's internal payroll & HR operations and end-to-end payroll processing for multiple client organizations.
The role requires ensuring accurate payroll execution, statutory compliance, HR administration, employee lifecycle management, and timely client support while maintaining compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory regulations.
The ideal candidate should possess strong payroll knowledge, excellent Microsoft Excel skills, and the ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll & Compliance (Internal & Client Payroll)
Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing for Agrya Consulting and multiple client organizations.
Collect, validate, and process monthly payroll inputs.
Process new joiners, exits, salary revisions, incentives, reimbursements, arrears, and payroll adjustments.
Prepare and process Full & Final (F&F) settlements.
Generate payslips, payroll registers, bank transfer statements, and payroll MIS reports.
Ensure payroll is processed accurately within agreed timelines.
Resolve payroll-related queries from employees and clients promptly.
HR Operations
Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding activities.
Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and personnel files.
Manage attendance, leave records, and employee data in the HRMS.
Prepare HR letters including appointment, confirmation, increment, promotion, transfer, and relieving letters.
Support employee engagement initiatives and day-to-day HR operations.
Assist in HR compliance, documentation, and process improvement initiatives.
Statutory Compliance
Handle statutory compliance including:
Employees' Provident Fund (EPF)
Employees' State Insurance (ESI)
Professional Tax (PT)
Labour Welfare Fund (LWF)
Tax Deducted at Source (TDS)
Prepare and file statutory returns within prescribed timelines.
Process PF transfers, withdrawals, pension/death claims, UAN generation and updates, and ESI registrations.
Coordinate with statutory authorities and address compliance-related matters.
Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and payroll regulations.
Reporting & Documentation
Maintain payroll records, statutory registers, challans, and compliance documentation.
Prepare payroll MIS reports, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
Generate client-specific payroll reports and dashboards.
Support internal and external audits by providing required payroll and statutory records.
Maintain confidentiality of employee and payroll information.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of Indian Payroll and Statutory Compliance.
Experience in handling payroll for multiple clients and entities.
Hands-on experience with payroll software and HRMS platforms.
Key Skills

VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
IF, SUMIF, COUNTIF functions

Data reconciliation and reporting

Qualification
Any UG / PG Degree
Experience
2 to 4 years of experience in Payroll Processing, HR Operations, and Statutory Compliance.
Experience handling payroll for multiple client organizations or working in a payroll outsourcing/shared services environment is an added advantage.
