Business Process Collate existing data or client details (with or without policy) Close new business and renew policies of existing clients as per the structured process laid down by the company before expiry by ensuring the following activityo Fix risk inspection date and coordinate with clients to conduct the inspectiono Coordinate with technical engineers for risk analysis on the basis of on-ground situations (fire safety/ infrastructure etc.) and understand gaps in insurance coverage on the basis of inspectiono Analyze gross block in client's books to estimate the adequacy of coverage, obtain a tentative valuation from the claims department/ registered value, and ascertain gaps to be able to suggest scope for further offerings through a structured reporto Prepare quote slip as well as premium schedule and technical schedule and float the same to insurance companies to obtain quotations and offeringso Follow up with the insurance companies to get quotations and analyze the merits of the quotations of the insurance companieso Prepare a comparative sheet along with terms and conditionso Exhibit to the client, quotes of only those insurance companies on whom Salasar has control and seek the client's choiceo Prepare documentation for sign-off by the client once the client makes the choice and issues the premium chequeo Submit the document to the insurance company and submit the acknowledgment sheet to the cliento Get a 'held cover' letter/ cover note issued in the interim till the policy document is issuedo Follow up with the insurance company for the issue of the Policy document and hand it over to the cliento Check policy documents against quote slip, identify gaps, and ensure rectification with necessary follow-upo Prepare offline policy with detailed fine print with reference of system generated policy, where required, obtain sign off by insurance company and hand over to the cliento Ensure all documents are filed manually and entries made in Saiba immediately after the business is closed and the cheque is receivedo Follow up with insurance companies for endorsements, in case of modifications or errorsIn the case of existing clients, fix a meeting with the client at least one and a half months before renewal to initiate the process of renewalEnsure timely compliance with the following:declaration of all types of policies (transit / marine policy and fire policy)Certificate verificationEndorsementRefundsOther related mattersEnsure immediate entries in the KPTS/ SAIBA in case the business does not mature despite underwriting supportEnsure Compliance with IRDA normsUpload IAR (Industrial All-Risk policies) and endorsements, if any, in SAIBAEnsure underwriting accuracy so that no claim gets jeopardized/repudiated because of underwriting flaws.1. Underwriting of the health proposal.2.Prepare RFQ & QCR for health proposal.3.Coordinate with insurance companies for various issues i.e. policy terms & coverages related issues, claim related issues, for collecting the issued policy copy etc.4. Coordinate with insurers and various corporate clients to ensure the correct policy documents are in place.5. Taking care of issuance of monthly endorsements of GMC/ GPA6. Provide the issued endorsement copies to the client7.
