01Key Responsibilities
**
- Lead DevOps methodology covering plan, development of tools, practices, and culture
- Establish and implement DevOps best practices, including form control, code review, automated testing, and organization systems
- Modeler and oversee infrastructure as code, using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar, to provision and manage assets across cloud environments
- Carry out and oversee CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, CircleCI or similar, ensuring quick and stable application deployment
- Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure teams are adhering to industry best practices and regulatory requirements
- Analyze and improve DevOps pipelines and practices, identifying areas for growth, development, and automation to enhance deployment/failback consistency and accuracy
- Stay up-to-date with emerging data technologies, trends, and best practices, and make recommendations for their adoption within the organization's DevOps environment
- Coach and provide technical guidance to junior colleagues, encouraging a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning
**Essential Qualifications:**
- Experience working in public cloud environments, GCP (e.g.)/Azure/ AWS and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Capability in infrastructure as code concepts and tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) for automating asset provisioning and deployment
- Active involvement in CI/CD pipeline tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI) and version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Strong programming skills in languages like Python, Java, or similar
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate complex DevOps stage issues and provide effective solutions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and partners
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Cloud Logging Solutions) ensuring application performance and system health
- Knowledge of security best practices in DevOps, including experience with vulnerability scanning, compliance systems, and secure deployment practices
- Experience with Generative Artificial Intelligence as well as Gitlab
- Leadership experience, including coaching and directing junior specialists, is an asset
