Overview
As an Expert Business Consultant at Global Services, you will have a key role in providing data analysis, system configuration, implementation, consultative training, and support of software applications for both new and existing clients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Interacting with clients to identify project requirements
- Configuring system parameters based on clients' business practices
- Conducting data analysis and mapping activities
- Providing on-site or remote support during client conversions
- Testing system configuration and functionality
- Facilitating database validation work sessions
In addition to the above responsibilities, you will be expected to:
- Establish system parameters and controls based on clients' business practices
- Recommend best practices and review setup with clients
- Identify and resolve any technical issues
- Report risks during projects and communicate project scope and status to stakeholders
- Record project-related activities accurately
- Follow established project, departmental, and company procedures
The ideal candidate for this position should possess:
- 7-10 years of experience in the relevant area of expertise, preferably in a financial institution or an industry software company
- Client-facing service experience
- Experience with software implementation, support, or training
- Experience with project management disciplines and Finastra products is a plus
